Inventory System

What is Inventory?

An aviation inventory system is software used by aviation operations and maintenance departments to track and manage vast quantities of consumable, rotable, free issue parts and tools, ensuring availability when needed and minimizing downtime.

How does Airbourne help with inventory?

Airbourne provides the ability to recreate your real world inventory stores and their stocks within the system.

This will generate alerts when used alongside the Airbourne FTM system, such as requested demands and items removed from an aircraft awaiting action.

The inventory system also the ability to assign each part number with different criteria, such as whether or not the part number should be serialised or not. This helps when adding new materials to your stock and will alert you if a serial number is required keeping all your stock consistent.

Other criteria available are;

  • Rotable

  • Free issue

  • Consumable

  • Tool

  • Calibration/ test required

  • life limit/ shelf life

  • dangerous goods

  • minimum level (per store location)

  • upload image

  • add allowable alternative parts (manually maintained).

Functionally the Airbourne inventory system allows the generation of quotes for purchase/ repairs, purchase orders, repair orders, arrange transit orders between stores, raise new demands and issue items to meet FTM demands.

With a warning panel on the home screen using a traffic light warning system, users will be able to quickly view any required actions and action them as needed.
