Aircraft Maintenance Planning
What is maintenance planning?
Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMO) are required to handle the management and oversight of the continuing airworthiness of aircraft. Approved by aviation authorities such as FAA or EASA, the CAMO uses maintenance program procedures to ensure the ongoing airworthiness of their aircraft fleets are meeting requirements.
Part of this procedure will be to plan maintenance around calendar, Flight hour and Flight cycle intervals for all types of tasks applicable to the aircraft.
These can include out of phase, letter check, deferred defects, ADs, SBs, STCs, EOs and Hard time items.
How does AirBourne help with Maintenance Planning?
AirBourne has been designed with full oversight of the aircraft status as a primary focus. The moment you log into the system to view and aircraft you will be greeted by an on screen warning panel which uses a traffic light warning system identifying any crucial actions required. For example, immediate actions like overdue items will be shows red, items to be aware of but not immediately affecting airworthiness will be orange in colour. IF there are no issues then the panel will be green in colour.
This traffic light warning system is all present on a number of the reports produced through AirBourne always alerting the users to any tasks which may need to be actioned.
Additionally, AirBourne has certain planning screen which allow the view of all due tasks across your fleet on a monthly calendar for user which prefer a graphical view, alternatively the calendar view can be converted to a list and even exported into an excel document for users who prefer raw data to review.
